I envision a world where technology and human expertise combine to provide personalized support for every child, where educators and psychologists are empowered with the tools and knowledge to nurture diverse learners, and where the technology is used to promote equity. More about my philosophy, training and expertise:

  • Shaped by my own experiences as a person with hidden disabilities, I have dedicated my professional journey to advocating for underrepresented voices. My dual role as an academic and licensed psychologist enables me to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in School Psychology.

My early experiences as an Americorps volunteer and para-educator solidified my belief in the transformative power of equitable educational practices. This pivotal moment ignited a lifelong passion for ensuring that all children have access to meaningful educational opportunities and mental health services, regardless of their circumstances.

As a trainer I not only educate future School Psychologists but also advocate for comprehensive systemic changes within educational and health systems. I aim to foster inclusive and supportive environments, recognizing the unique challenges that children with disabilities face. This understanding is critical in shaping my efforts to develop effective interventions and policies that address these challenges head-on.

I firmly believe that education should be a liberating experience for every child, transcending barriers of ability and social identity. By championing the needs of marginalized children, I strive to create a learning landscape where diversity is not only recognized but celebrated. My mission is to equip stakeholders with the knowledge and tools necessary to implement inclusive practices, thereby honoring the distinct experiences of all children and promoting a culture of understanding and respect. I believe that AI is one of the most powerful assistive technologies ever created, and I aim to empower educators and psychologists to harness its potential to improve the lives of children.
